I'm sorry, but I need to ask you this:
What actually do you want? Guests can't enter certain forums or Guests can't enter threads in certain forums?

no reason to feel sorry, I know it's complicated

basically i would like to have 2 kinds of forums:
(a) users can see the forum on the index, they can enter it, they can enter the threads and posts replies
(b) user can see the forum on the index, they can not enter it, they can not enter any thread in it and not post replies

i would love it, if they got the "You are either not logged in or have not permission to view this page. ..."-error, when a guest clicks on a (b)-forum

Click the Spammer Forum. You can't enter it. Click the lastpost in that forum, you can't enter it.
Click the Test forum. You can enter it.

now it works, sorry that I didn't trust your expertise right away

the reason that it did not work for me the first time was a modefication that messed everything up, now everything works fine and i could not be happier, thank you so much
