Hello! I've been trying something out recently but can't for the life of me get it to work, maybe it's not even possible so just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas of how I can accomplish this!
I created a new global language variable so that it can be edited once and be up to date in several places around the site. It's for the current season (winter, summer, etc). I would like to use this as a blank replacement value (or however else it might work) when posting a new thread so that you can see when a thread was created.
For example if the language variable right now is set to Winter, it would add Winter to the database and always show that, even once the global language variable on the site itself changes. That way we can see that thread specifically was made during Winter even if the current season on site is Summer.
Any ideas on how I could accomplish this? Thanks!
