I mean by the "announcement" is the portal Announcements block, not the real MyBB's announcement.

Well, if the sticky is in a "News" forum it doesn't exactly means it is "important", it depends in how you manage your portal.
Um, I would like to bear on the portal some old posts or "lock" on first page portal a specific post
