I modified the contact form to be a recruitment form. Which has worked fine in the past.

I think I made a mistake somewhere but I cannot figure out why the post content is not syncing with the user post but instead it posts above them?

I'm not sure what you mean by 'syncing', but the default template layout is to put fields above the first post.
If you want it placed elsewhere, you need to modify your templates to accommodate that.
