Ah.... I'm sorry for my mistake.

Can i ask if the threads can be sorted by the update date?

I mean instead of the normal thread sorting by last reply date, threads will be sorted by the download system's Update Date of the file

is that possible.. it is ok if there is a need to edit a php but may take some time though

You can do that.
Edit your Download Forum, look at the Default Sort By: settings. You will find that XThreads adds additional sorter based on what custom thread fields added to that forum. In this example, you can select the File Upload [update time].

Why isn't the sort options is not changing... it is permanent to Board Default ... i can't change it to Thread Field: File Upload [update time] its always in Board Default and the default thread sorting isn't updating

Ah, yes. It is my fault why I use too many characters for the key in custom thread fields.
Unfortunately, I don't know a good solution for this.
I think you should wait Yumi/ZiNgA to reply.

Doesn't work for me, nothing change, just the making the new thread and when clicking for threadlisting, it doesn't work but when I click it in lastpost in index it work.

Can we use links instead of file upload? And how would we return the info about the file name, version, uploaders name?

We can use textbox for that. Unfortunately, the file info can't be generated automatically.
