The changed member.php is missing in the changed files. You should download the latest version from
http://mybb.com/download/latest and replace the member.php file.
We already know about it, and are working to update the package.

Tomm, I already ran the upgrade script with the changed files download and didn't get the member.php file in there...can I just drop the missing file into my ftp and be done or will I need to run the upgrade script again?
Well, I uploaded the missing file and all seems well!
My 1.6.1 upgrade is complete! The only problems I had was with the ProPortal (I had to reupload the Proportal version of portal.php) and I had to uninstall and reinstall the Advanced Stats on Index plugin. Otherwise, everything upgraded fine! I did close my board, but I did not deactivate any of my plugins! I used the changed file download to save time. I feel so much better! I hate having an upgrade release hanging over my head! LOL!
