Why do you thing using modalbox means one designing the theme wants to make it like xenforo??

By attachment box do you mean in post the thumbnails will be shown in an overlay or you mean the attachment box that we use to upload attachment??

err a bit error,wen i press buddy list....screen goes blank..
also a few more to add,
wen i click another friends profilemit is going directly,may be overlay if used in there also,will make theme more pro.....

Yes that`s because I have not added any modal boxes there because If some one want to see someones profile then the have to make an additional click to reach the main profile page..
