Ah... Probably that's what he did to "control" a database. I could see that the program can add, edit and delete records into/from a database via the forms.

I think yes, he used MS Access as database. But I don't know what happen when the program compiled. I don't know whether the program and the database can be run on other computer or not like the CheatBook.

Whenever I was coding something, I always used Python. It's easy to learn, has lots of libraries (so you can do anything), and it runs pretty darn fast as well. I never coded a GUI-type program though (I preferred command-prompt types), but it's possible.
