[1.8] Report Button not working with the forums that have template prefix

Hi
i upgraded to 1.8 yesterday.
when i realised spamalyzer is not working properly.
i started to make sure that people can report posts.

report post window pops up fine on all forums without the template prefix.
but in forums where i have custom templates the nothing happens when i click the report button.

Any idea why is that happening.

P.S. Rate/ Rep window is popping up fine.

That is odd because it works fine for me. I have a slightly customised postbit in my XThreads forum; I am using Bootstrap modals though. Do check that you dont have any old report templates in your custom template set.

nah i don't have any custom report templates.
another thing that is odd is forums with custom templates don't update anything smoothly on the page such as quick reply or star rating they take a full refresh. even when i try to delete a post in a thread the ost gets deleted but its keeps on showing until i manually refresh the page.

That is sounding like out of date javascript files. Make sure you have the 1.8 jscripts linked in your templates and that you are not using prototype code or jQuery no.conflict

aw sorry leefish i wasted your time.
i didn't had the reports.js into my code in the custom template.
problem is solved thanks for helping leefish
