default thread prefix
Is it possible to have default thread prefix when we have many thread prefixes in a forum??

when we use thread prefix icon instead of thread prefix text, the icon is wrapped with some hidden padding on top and bottom making the thread block bigger even though small space is enough for icon. where can we remove that spacing around icon?

What do you mean by "thread prefix icon"?

RE: default thread prefix
we can use the icon replacement while creating a thread prefix, right?

when we use like that, the icon is being wrapped by some unknown space on top and bottom increasing the width of the thread block in forum -> threads view.

and also we can create as many thread prefixes as we want for a forum. can we set a particular thread prefix as default when user tries to create a thread?

Not for me.
There is no additional style declaration (property and value) added by default to your thread prefix Display Style (if this Display Style what you meant by the "icon replacement").

RE: default thread prefix
the thread prefix icon is the feature inserted by http://mybbhacks.zingaburga.com/showthre...http://mybbhacks.zingaburga.com/showthread.php?tid=555&pid=43
and also had http://mybbhacks.zingaburga.com/showthread.php?tid=555 installed.

so, can we set a particular prefix as default when user tries creating a thread?

RE: default thread prefix
go to acp->configuration->thread prefixes and add some prefixes,
example
1
2
3
4

and allow them to be used in a forum. try creating a thread in that forum. you will see no prefix by default and you must select a prefix from those 1,2,3,4.
now i want a particular prefix to be set as default instead of "no prefix" example: 3

how can we make it?

RE: default thread prefix
You need a plugin for that.
