Idea: Allows items to be at multiple shops?

In the Tales games (and most RPG's), the same items are sold at multiple shops.

Would it be possible to (either by core or a module) to allow an item to be sold at more than one "shop"? That would make it more "realistic" for RPG-based sites.

MyPlaza doesn't have support for multiple "shops" unfortunately.
And simply taking your idea, probably won't work unless there's some other base.

Since there's no virtual world, there's really no point in having multiple shops as the only difference would be just clicking a different link.  However, in a game, multiple shops may make more sense since you're not always rooted in the same position.
