Leave the Valid File Extensions setting blank?

I'll see if I can do something about the safemode restriction.  I don't have safemode enabled, so I generally don't test under those conditions.
But yes, that is a host restriction.
EDIT: try replacing your inc/xthreads/xt_upload.php with the attached one.

It won't fetch from Mediafire.  The Mediafire link you posted is not a direct link - if you put that up, it'll pull a HTML page.

Extensions will be taken from the Content-Disposition header if one is sent.

The attachment works fine, safe mode display disappear.

Now the problem , if we had the direct url, basically the url uploads will download the links first to xtupload folder before to be ready for download, i was thought it just redirect into the file url links. My bandwidth isn't enough for this. what if we just redirect the download button to the files url?

I tried installing it and I can upload a file, put it in a category, give it a description, but none of it shows up on the thread itself.

After the post has been completed and the file has been uploaded, it just shows the thread (without download, category, description).

I have done everything that was stated on the install post.

Any ideas?

- ensure that the template prefix is set up correctly for the forum (not the forum's parent or child, the exact forum containing the post)
- make sure templates you added are in the Global template set

There was a prefix issue and its now fixed. Thanks for the help
