 How to block posts in parent forum but allow in sub forums?

In the acp, edit the Classifieds forum.
Change type from forum to Category.
Then when you click "Classifieds", you will only see the two subforums.

Example: http://thefreebieforum.info
(Click "Americana" forum. What you see inside of it are the subforums only)
