Post new thread buttons missing

After my upgrade to myBB 1.6, I noticed that all my XThreads Post New Thread buttons have been replaced by text links...

Example:
http://www.7173mustangs.com/forum-garage

Is there an easy fix to this or what should I look for?

Click with right button and check the url.. See if there is an image missing or if the URL is wrong... since you copied the old template you might need to change the link to the buttons.

The Garage Forum example application doesn't change the newthread button.
If you created a new forumdisplay_newthread template with a prefix (gf_forumdisplay_newthread), try to look at the template code.

That's weird...there is no missing image url.  It's like it disappeared since 1.4!  Could my new skin not use the New Thread button the same as the old skins did?

If you or the new theme didn't change the "behavior" for that, the new theme will displaying its newthread button.
