Google Punishes Sites with Excessive Ads
Sites which rely heavily on sticking heaps of ads might* get a bit of a hit by Google

Yay for users, assuming it works well.

* Though one does question whether this affects Google's own Adsense.
Also, one wonders if this affects ads stuck in the middle of content, which is arguably more annoying.

For me (this is only my personal opinion), it is a bit annoying when browsing a website that has a "banner farm". Because my internet connection is really slow, it needs to take a long time for the site to be loaded for me.

I don't know about this one. I should try it. Thanks for the info, Yumi.
Yes, the flash banner (many flash banner), for me, is really slow to be loaded.

Personally, I don't mind ads in a website. Maybe it is one of the way for the website owner to monetize their site. Even I don't mind to click the ads if the information I need can be found in the website. But if it is a "banner farm", it is a bit annoying for me.

Another annoying things to me, an auto refresh page.

Ads are for greedy pigs. Not once have I ever clicked on an advert, nor will I ever start.

I will go to google and search for what I want....No website is going to "entice" me with a text or image banner!
