Displaying images from latest threads on forum index

I've searched around on here looking for an answer to this, but I'll go ahead and ask here incase someone knows the answer already.

I'm trying to pull images from the latest posts in a specific forum to display on the forum index.

Something like what you see here: http://www.14.mynie.co.cc/index.php

Does anyone know a good way to achieve this? Thanks!
