Help with log in redirection.

I have a problem. When people log in to my forums they get redirect to htt://example.com/portal.php.( I renamed portal.php to index.php) so they get a Not Found error. Any way to fix this?


Also how can i make my logo redirect people to http://example.com/forum.php instead of http://example.com/index.php.
