RE: Trading Forum
Hi, i get this error when i try to create template: Template Name: trdf_forumdisplay_thread
'A potential security issue was found in the template. Please review your changes or contact the MyBB Group for support.'

I copied and pasted directly from the thread. Any help to how i can fix this please? Thank you!

It should be displayed if you filter threads by any filter.
If you don't want it to be like that, you can try to remove the style="{$filters_set['__all']['visiblecss']}" in your trdf_forumdisplay_threadlist template, and/or maybe you need to remove the {$rules} variable from that template.

I experienced the same thing. I'm confused on this part which one to choose?

RE: Trading Forum
You can try the Exact match. You can read the description and try it for more filtering options.

Just a little but well worth it...it's the only way you're gonna learn plus you have great support over here. They helped me through all my xthread mods for my forum.

see attached pic for me classified section on my car forum.

RE: Trading Forum
Great feature, but I've run into some problems:

1. When I'm on the main page of the forum, I see TWO search boxes:

2. I tried posting a sample listing. When I tried searching for it, this is all I got (I set no filter restrictions):

RE: Trading Forum
Hey,

I just followed the rules exactly as above. Turned out very nicely.

I was wondering if it supported subcategories? I have the categories Hardware and Software but under Hardware was wondering if I could sub it to say HDD, CD-ROM, RAM, etc. I am sure this is probably just some HTML within the 'trdf_forumdisplay_threadlist' template but when I make a new ad and have to select from the category it would all just display one after another with no parent>sub category.

Thanks!

RE: Trading Forum
Depends on exactly how you want to do it.
If it's just some display thing, as opposed to data based subcategorisation, just insert some spaces before the text perhaps?
Eg

Code:
Hardware
    HDD
    CD-ROM
