I lost you there.  If you want to reposition the input field, you'll need to do template editing.

If what you're asking for is what I think it is, when editing a thread field, look at the description for the "Hide input field on New/edit thread" option.

RE: add multiple prefix of different category in the new thread
Thanks zinga burga. You are really helpful.

Please Help i want to create a drop down filter and search like this page using the custom thread field.
http://www.leefish.nl/mybb/forumdisplay....http://www.leefish.nl/mybb/forumdisplay.php?filtertf_prefix=Sims2&filtertf_pfcat=Buy&fid=7&filtertf_dld_ep_prefix=OFB&sortby=lastpost&order=desc

As far as i believe, there is something that needs to be done with  forumdisplay_searchforum_inline, but i dont know how to do it.
I know very little coding. I even dont know to create a simple filter through category url like in wordpress.Kindly help me in this regard.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Please help. Its a request. No body is helping me.

I understand, i can do manipulations.

As far as i believe, there is something that needs to be done with  forumdisplay_searchforum_inline function that is included in the xthread. Is there any short code or do i need to copy that code to make the drop down filter.
