how to display an xthread field in latest threads advanced sidebox

Hey how can i display the a thread field in the latest thread sidebox of advanced sidebox.
i changed the asb_latest_threads_thread template. but the field didn't showed up on the index page nor in the thread page.
is there a way to display xthreads there?
