Attachments in Quick Reply

I'm looking to get some help in allowing users to use the attachment system in the quick reply form.

I'm willing to pay for this if needed.

Would this be for all file types or just images?

Just images, nothing else.

In that case, why not use a plugin that extends the sceditor to the quick reply and use the imgur uploading images function? The images are not on your server that is true, they are on imgur in an anonymous bucket.

It does somewhat depend on how you want such a system to work.  Copy/pasting some code from the newreply template may actually work, though the user may be redirected to the full new reply after uploading an attachment.
