MyBB Hacks

I would like to have a possibility to make a trackback or some other way of letting a blogpost know that it is been discussed. If not by the Trackback-protocol - then by some other protocol ?

Is this done or possible and would someone find this easy and be willing to do it ?

I don't really see how XThreads has anything to do with this.
It should be theoretically possible to write a plugin which sends trackbacks.
Though you may wish to consider issues such as constant post editing etc.
