Is it possible that i can show an image in the possibly related threads that gets fetched from an xthreads field from the similar thread?

I mean how can i plug the {$GLOBALS['threadfields']['image']['url']} into the possibly related threads so that it shows a thumbnail in front of link to the related thread link
Something similar to related posts in wordpress.

Unfortunately thread fields aren't supported in the 'possibly related threads' box.

aw that would have made mybb totally awesome.
images in related threads would help recognize more related thread to read.
