How can I use Xthreads to hook into MyBB thumbnail generator?

if you make a field for an image and send it to myBB to generate that thumbnail, i can use both the thumbnail and image for various ways

LOL if i add a image link or i upload an image? How I can use the thumbnail generator in myBB to generate thumbnails and output either the thumbnail or the link to the image itself?
