not sure if i was doing it right. I followed the instructions but when i start in a new thread specific for testing. nothing popped up like in the example images.
Please explain exactly what you've done in more detail, such as the exact forum you've selected in the thread field creation, the forum you're creating the thread in, whether or not additional fields come up on the newthread page etc.
thanks rateu, i found the valuable use of this application now
just wondering if i could use these codes on index page of my forum to make my categories into tabs?? is it possible or not? if there is different codes can you please post here. cheers
I have maybe a bit of a weird question. And seeing that the last reply was over a year ago i dont even know if this is the right place to ask it or not.
But here goes nothing, because of Leefish i discoverd Xthread. And want to use the custom profile fields part to:
http://mybbhacks.zingaburga.com/showthread.php?tid=1271
But i also saw this in the applications list. Now is my question is it somehow possible to adapt this for a story forum?
What i mean by this is i would like the following:
2 tabs:
1 = Story information
2 = Chapters.
The thing is , i would like, if its possible the option to allow users to create an infinite amount of chapters (or 20/25 would be enough to). And this would then display as a dropdown menu. When you hover over the Tab - Chapters. After you click on one of the chapters it would only show the story from that one chapter. Now is my question is this even possible? or is it not at all
If its not possible i think i will still use it only have all chapters simply in one post underneath the tab chapters.
Why not make every "chapter" a post and display it in threaded view?

I am not sure what you mean with threaded view.
Do you mean why not create a post per chapter? Or
Hello,
in the demo in the first post, the New Thread template has tabs. Is there a tutorial for doing that? I searched a little but haven't found one.
