Xthread Forum Options? How can i hack into this to add my own options and use them in the themes?

Forum Option overrides aren't really designed for that.  You can use conditionals or template overrides for this.

It's theoretically possible to stuff values into the overrides if you're keen though (need to edit the textbox directly).
