Using the new version (XThreads 1.46) works for me? I've tried using your URL:

Code:
http://mantic59.blogspot.com/

[attachment=575]

After updating, what's your text mask filter set to?

yep, after updating.  my text mask filter is set to:
custom (regex)

Code:
^(https?)\://([a-z.\-_]+)(/[^\r\n"<>&]*)?$

odd, before applying your latest change, it was set to URL (HTTP/S).  shall I switch it back to URL?

Try that, it should set the filter to what I posted before.

ok, switching it back to URL allowed me to post the subdomain URL.  thanks for the quick response.
rateu,

I was curious if it were possible to make 2 enhancements to your latest link directory mod.

1) is it possible to add the number of links within a category on the main view page under the "links category"?  So it would say "Category Name" and then something like (10 links).

2) under the main view page of the link directory, is it possible to list which category a link is in when you look at the links under the "links" section?  example:
url - go
author - date and time
category (clickable category name to take you into its category)
description about the link

You probably should switch to separate forums if you want that type of categorisation.
That is, create child forums for each of the categories, applying the forum settings to each child forum.

Just change your templates.
Note that if you go separate forums you won't be able to display everything on one page (just like how you can't display threads from multiple forums on a single forumdisplay page).
huh, I cannot figure this one out....

I set up the latest link directory mod on another forum I manage and for some reason, the category I set up is saying there are no child forums within the category to display, even though there are.

here's a link to the category:
http://www.pazrt.com/forum/forum-link-directory

here's a link to the forum within the category:
http://www.pazrt.com/forum/forum-links

I have both the category and forum set so it's hidden.  any ideas?
If you've set them to be both hidden, then shouldn't that basically be the case?
If you want to show the forum in the category, then just hide the category only.
