I think it affects the default MyBB thread prefix only, not the thread prefixes made in XThreads.
Hey,

I tried out the plugin, but I think I have a general problem with it. When I tried out the Thread Description, it didn't show a new field under thread subject. So I tried it with Thread Image - the same. I think the input field is just not shown..
Ensure that your templates have been modified correctly for your theme (see second post in this thread).
In particular, {$extra_threadfields} should be present in both your editpost and newthread templates for your theme.
Oh Zinga can I suggest to have an option something like the specific moderator of that forum can also edit a specific thread field (like fields editable by admins only) but not the same specific thread field in the other forums that the user doesn't moderate? well it will be kinda useful to my part, i still make same thread fields for each forum but only specific groups can edit it. I think this can be useful with forums with the Approve / Disapprove thread features (not the mybb default, you know what i mean Tongue )
I believe the Editable By: Moderators setting does take into consideration forum specific moderators.  Is that not the case for you?
Alternatively, you can select custom groups for the Editable By setting.

Well, nope. I want to have a thread field that it considers the Editable By setting which includes also the moderator groups in charge in that forum where the field is applied even though that group is not set in the Editable By setting.
Kinda hard making different fields for each forum that you only want those fields to be editable only by the moderator group in charge in that forum (for my forum though).
Either I don't really understand you, or I can't understand why forum moderators won't work.

Example:
Forum A - moderated by group C
Forum B - moderated by group D

Set thread field to editable by "Moderators", and only group C, super moderators and administrators will be able to edit it in forum A, and group D, super mods+admins able to edit it in forum B.
I don't know if this is a bug but the XThreads Options section under Forum Settings has a note: "these settings do not cascade down into child forums". The exact opposite happens to me - WAMP Server, MyBB 1.6.4, XThreads 1.45.
Can you give any specific example?
I don't have a link but this is what I did:

Forum Structure:
Parent Forum
--Child Forum

Added a template (forumicon_forumbit_depth2_forum, in my case), went to Parent Forum settings and set the Template Prefix to forumicon_. Child Forum uses the same template, even if its Template Prefix is blank. To fix the issue I had to create a copy of the original forumbit_depth2_forum, name it forumiconoff_forumbit_depth2_forum and set the Template Prefix for Child Forum to forumiconoff_. Is this normal behavior?
